Connect with nature

We are having a glorious fall day in Colorado with bluebird skies and color bursting from the trees. In my garden the roses are also giving us a rare October bloom. Taking a moment to connect with nature can bring us into the present moment, decrease stress, and increase feelings of gratitude.

I am feeling grateful for the participants in my Short Course in Mindful Self-Compassion, which ended this week. The opportunity to share the power of self-compassion and hear the ways in which it is making a difference in their lives has been so gratifying. I am offering a condensed version of The Short Course in Mindful Self-Compassion, virtually on Saturday afternoons November 4, 11, & 18. I’d love to have you join me! You can read the course description and investment here.

I hope you were able to experience last weekend’s Libra New Moon Eclipse. I didn’t have eclipse glasses, but had fun playing with different ways to observe the phenomenon through the shadows of leaves, colanders, and my fingers. The time between eclipse can sometimes feel a little shaky and unsettled, but is an opportunity to explore what arises with curiosity and compassion. We will be taking in the next eclipse during our Full Moon Sound Bath on Saturday, October 28 from 3-4 PM MT. In person and virtual options are available.

Please join me for Saturday Morning Yoga as we explore this eclipse energy, pause, listen to our bodies, and care for them with lovingkindness.

I hope you will explore the upcoming opportunities and take time to care for yourself in a supportive community. Reach out with any questions.

Please feel free to practice with previous recordings of Saturday Morning Classes as well as Evening Chair Yoga on my Youtube channel.

May you be safe, may you be happy, may you be healthy, may you live with ease. ❤️ ~ Lisa
