Heavy heart days

Today my heart has been heavy for many reasons near and far. Days like this remind me of my vulnerability as a human being and how quickly things can change in unexpected ways. It can be hard to allow ourselves to slow down on these heavy heart days as we are conditioned to keep pushing through. I am grateful for the support of my friends, family, and colleagues today who have held me and encouraged me to take the time I need. Building a community of care for ourselves and each other is an essential part of healing and thriving.

This weekend is bringing astrological changes, with the Taurus Full Moon and lunar eclipse, along with a shift out of our mild fall weather to a drop in temperatures and the first significant snowfall of the season in the metro area. The combination presents a wonderful opportunity for us to find stillness, reflect, and offer ourselves what we need. If you need some support finding time and space for stillness, please join me for a Full Moon Sound Bath on Saturday, October 28 from 3-4 PM MT allowing the vibrations of the crystal singing bowls to soothe your body, mind, and spirit. In person and virtual options are available.

And if you need some support with movement, please join me for Saturday Morning Yoga as we explore this full moon and eclipse energy by moving and listening to our bodies as we care for them with lovingkindness.

There is one more week to sign up for The Short Course in Mindful Self-Compassion. Registration ends November 1. The course will take place virtually on Saturday afternoons November 4, 11, & 18 from 1-4 PM MT. I’d love to have you join me! You can read the course description and investment here.

I hope you will explore the upcoming opportunities and take time to care for yourself in a supportive community. Reach out with any questions.

Please feel free to practice with previous recordings of Saturday Morning Classes as well as Evening Chair Yoga on my Youtube channel.

May you be safe, may you be happy, may you be healthy, may you live with ease. ❤️ ~ Lisa
