More Equanimity

As we process the energy of this week’s new moon and lunar eclipse, we may still be feeling a bit unsettled. Allowing ourselves the opportunity to hold the space rather than needing to understand it all and take action can be challenging. It is a good opportunity to practice equanimity, which I feel has been a theme for me over the past month. The ability to hold all of what life offers, the joy with the pain and the ease with the struggles, takes a lot of practice and self-compassion. I hope you are able to offer yourself some kindness when you notice your inner voice turning a little harsh. The Self-Compassion Break is a wonderful practice to support us in those difficult moments. If you are interested in learning more about balancing your inner critic and you r inner compassion voice, I encourage you to consider The Short Course in Mindful Self-Compassion beginning April 9.

Please join me virtually for Saturday Morning Yoga this weekend as we take time to listen to our bodies and care for them with lovingkindness. You may also enjoy a growing variety of meditations I have available on the Insight Timer app that you can access for free. I’d appreciate your offering a rating on the meditations as well.

On April 3 I will be leading a workshop on Tuning into Your Intuition as part of the Wellbeing Wednesdays series at Unity Spiritual Center Denver. We will be exploring the use of mindfulness practices to increase our connection to our inner wisdom.

Registration is open for the Mindfulness for Educators Retreat at Drala Mountain Center, June 17th-20th. I will be co-leading the retreat with Dr. Andra Brill. We’d love to have you join us!!

Please explore upcoming opportunities below.

Please feel free to practice with previous recordings of Saturday Morning Classes as well as Evening Chair Yoga on my Youtube channel. As a reminder my friend Kate is offering live Monday and Wednesday morning classes from katekelly.yoga.

May you be safe, may you be happy, may you be healthy, may you live with ease. ~ Lisa 🩵
