New Moon in Cancer

I hope this finds you all safe and well as our country celebrates the 4th of July amidst the turmoil of recent events here and abroad. It is yet another opportunity for practicing equanimity and truly holding all that is present as it is. Celebrating all the good in our country and its potential, while recognizing, acknowledging, and taking action to make a difference in its harms is one way of practicing equanimity. We can sometimes feel daunted by our own personal challenges not to mention the breadth and depth of all the difficulties beyond us. I encourage you to pause, take a breath, and do the next right thing that you can. Remember that you don’t have to change it all at once and you don’t have to do it alone.

Tomorrow is a New Moon in Cancer. It is an opportunity to tap into the energy of joy and a time to tune into our own heart center, listening to the wisdom within. Intentions we set for what we want to bring into our lives get an extra boost during new moons. Tanazz from Forever Conscious explores the Sirius Gateway as a “potent time” for healing. Lena from The Power Path also offers a nurturing perspective of this new moon energy.

I would love for you to join me for Saturday Morning Yoga this weekend as we tap into our inner joy and hold space for ourselves. There will be no class July 13 nor a newsletter next week as I will be out of the country exploring with my youngest son. I look forward to seeing you again on July 20 for both yoga and a Full Moon Sound Bath.

As we move into late July I will be offering more opportunities for Reiki and Sound Healing treatments. Feel free to contact me to schedule a healing treatment.

Please explore upcoming opportunities below. Additional offerings will be coming soon!

As always feel free to practice with previous recordings of Saturday Morning Classes as well as Evening Chair Yoga on my Youtube channel. You may also enjoy a growing variety of meditations I have available on the Insight Timer app that you can access for free. I’d appreciate your offering a rating on the meditations as well. Additionally, my friend Kate continues to offer live online classes Monday and Wednesday mornings from katekelly.yoga.

May you be safe, may you be happy, may you be healthy, may you live with ease. ❤️ ~ Lisa
