Present Moment

It has been a week of many emotions and managing the roller coaster ride has been challenging. I have been reminded through a variety of sources that the practice of being present in the moment can be essential in riding the waves that life brings. Connecting to our bodies and breath, grounding into our feet and seat, and connecting with what we can see and hear are all tools for bringing us back to the present moment. Our yoga practice supports us in honing these skills on the mat, so we can access them more readily out in the world.

Next week brings a super full moon in Capricorn and may bring more big emotions with it. It is supposed to be the biggest of this year’s super moons. I encourage you to get outside on July 13th and soak up some moon rays. You can read more about the energy of this moon and how to work with it at Foreverconcious.com.
